(ANSA) - ROME, June 17 - The Mediterranean will have a cultural capital in rotation.
This was announced by the Minister of Culture Franceschini with the concluding declaration of the two-day disummit which brought together for the first time in Naples 30 ministers from the Mediterranean area and beyond.
The capital of culture will host important initiatives alternating between Mediterranean countries.
"In these two days - Franceschini says on the sidelines - Naples has already proved to be a great cultural capital, now we will define rules and procedures but Naples has all it takes" (ANSA).
