Reign times!” The doctors, here with Farin Urlaub last night in the Munich Olympic Stadium, are now also learning Bavarian.

The doctors are back in Munich with a furious concert evening, which they exhaust to the last second.

The best band in the world conquers the Olympic Stadium.

Munich – Far too easy.

A silly "Eeeeeyy-eyyyyyooo" is no challenge for the audience in Munich.

So Farin Urlaub digs deep into his bag of tricks and pulls out a flawless yodel.

And the audience?

Yodels enthusiastically after him.

Whether with a spontaneously intoned "In Munich there is a Hofbräuhaus" or for Berlin standards perfect stage Bavarian ("Saggra! Reign times!"): The guitarist takes the hearts of 25,000 Bavarians by storm.

The doctors in Munich: Farin, Bela and Rod fool around with the audience

The doctors from Berlin are back, the self-proclaimed best band in the world.

And anyone who thinks that they have only slightly rusted or aged during the forced break will experience the opposite in the Olympic Stadium.

As if they knew that the sky over Munich would shine "sky blue" when they come on stage with their "Buffalo Bill in Rome" stadium tour.

They chose the opener of their stadium concert perfectly - just like their opening act Antilopengang, who brought the stadium up to operating temperature.

Farin Urlaub (all in black except for the peroxide spiky hair), drummer Bela B. (in the black and white look of Disney diva Cruella de Vil) and bassist Rod Gonzales (classy dark blue suit) fool around, they improvise through the set list and that sounds wonderfully fresh and loud.

In between, Farin has tea brought to him ("Farin drinks tea like Edmund Stoiber!"), Bela praises a young man for his ability to carry ten beers without an accident, and Rod is adored by the women in the audience.

The doctors in Munich also become political and take a clear stand against the Nazis

Between the well-known songs like "Lasse redn", "Hurra" and "1/2 Lovesong" they play something new, a few rarities and then sometimes get serious and political.

Farin explains that they had it printed on the tickets that they didn't want any Nazis at the concert.

In general, they talk almost as much as they sing.

It's a lot of fun, a lot of exchange with the audience, charming, not rehearsed.

They go on tour "to at least spread a little good mood," Farin Urlaub said in an interview a few days ago.

It's obvious how much fun they have, even after 40 years of band history.

They exhaust the allowed playing time up to the last minute, and after "Gute Nacht" they spontaneously add the "Schundersong".

"Belafarinrod" celebrate a great concert party in Munich, which sets the bar high for the upcoming open air events.

In the end it's much too easy: Die Ärzte from Berlin, rightly the best band in the world!
