The drugstore chain Dm has to close several branches across Germany on Tuesday morning (June 14).

Update from Tuesday, June 14, 2:10 p.m .:
Due to a software glitch, several branches of the Karlsruhe drugstore company Dm had problems with their cash registers on Tuesday morning.
The error was noticed quickly because it first appeared in stores that opened at 7 a.m., the company reported.
IT specialists found the cause quickly and fixed the error.
Most cash registers are now functional again, said DM boss Christoph Werner.
However, it remains unclear how many markets nationwide were affected by the breakdown or even still are.
It was also not communicated exactly what problems there were when checking out.

Kassel – On Tuesday morning (June 14), many people are standing in front of closed doors at Dm.
The drugstore chain had to close several branches in German cities at short notice.
The reason: the cash register systems in the shops have failed.
Dm boss Christoph Werner told the Bild newspaper: "There are currently problems with the cash registers in a number of Dm markets due to a software error." However, the cause is known.
"We assume that we will be able to serve our customers nationwide again in the next few minutes," said Werner.
