Soccer star Ilkay Gündogan celebrated his wedding.
Sara Arfaoui Gündogan, the national player's wife, posted photos on Instagram showing the couple in front of a stately home in Italy.
He is wearing a dark blue suit, she is wearing a strapless white wedding dress and a glittering necklace.
The 26-year-old presenter wrote: "I'm still dreaming ... my infinite love." The photo was reposted from the soccer player's account.
Sara Arfaoui Gündogan's Instagram story reveals that the celebration took place on Lake Como.
The pictures show the view of the lake, short videos provide insights into the celebration.
The couple did not provide any further details.
The DFB player, who plays in midfield for the British club Manchester City, and his partner, who works as a presenter and model, had already been married in May.
Even then, the two had not made a public event out of the marriage, but only showed photos on Instagram afterwards.
At the time, it was said about pictures from Copenhagen: "We are really happy and can't wait to celebrate with our families and friends." That's exactly what the two have now obviously done.
The couple had already announced their engagement in December 2021.
The soccer professional had commented on a photo that showed the two surrounded by roses, heart balloons and a balloon lettering "I Love You" with the words "My person... for life 💍❤️❤️🔜 Mrs. Gündogan".
It is unclear whether the two will find a common residence.
While Sara Arfaoui Gündogan regularly appears in a quiz show on Italian television, Ilkay Gündogan hardly has to worry about his job at Manchester City.
Just a few weeks ago, in a game against Aston Villa, he scored the crucial goals that secured the club the Premier League title.
