According to the newspaper Domani, the new "reformist, liberal and progressive" space will be presented in September, which would already have the name 'Italy exists' and would see the mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala as leader.
At the moment it is an association - explains the newspaper - made up of politicians and activists, especially from Italia Viva and formerly from + Europa and the idea of the name is attributed to Gianfranco Librandi, deputy of Italy viva and industrial from Saronno, who allegedly consulted two companies and the survey revealed an appreciation for the Draghi agenda and 'the rediscovered centrality in the international arena'.
Librandi could be the financier of the new political project, which among its objectives would have to involve Mara Carfagna and Luigi di Maio.
The newspaper cites confidential polls, according to which the new line-up would be credited with 10% of the votes.
Carlo Calenda does not figure among the personalities to be involved who, writes Domani citing sources, 'does not want to aggregate, he plays alone to make others lose and thus favors Meloni'.
Repubblica also talks about a 'reformist pole' that the mayor of Milan is thinking of, which points out how Sala is moving to build a network that could give life to a movement that the newspaper defines as a new 'political thing'.
