(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, June 17 - Former army sergeant Alexander Drueke, who is feared to have ended up in Russian hands after disappearing in Ukraine this month, is alive.
The family reported it citing a new video circulating online and in which he addresses his mother Lois: "Mom, I just want you to know that I am alive and that I hope to get home as soon as possible," he says, expressing his affection for his parent and for their dog Diesel, but without revealing where he is.
