"Embarking on a new path": Habima Theater launches the following artistic program | Israel today

At the Habima National Theater, the repertoire for the years 2023-2022 was presented today, with an emphasis on original Israeli plays, adaptations of Israeli films and books, and world classics.

"Habima is embarking on a fascinating and new journey that promises the audience a season of original plays, musicals, classics and a juicy repertoire that is appropriate for the National Theater in Israel," said the theater's director Noam Semel.

Among the intriguing productions that will take the stage: "The Beautiful Year of My Life", an original musical written and composed by Ohad Hitman starring Miki Kam, Roni Dalumi and Lee Biran, directed by Moshe Kaftan, which tells the story of Dana and Roni Blumenthal - a successful young couple , Stable and calm for the challenging routine of fresh parenting for their eldest son;

"Heroine," by Shai Lahav, directed by Tzadi Tzarfati, about the complex and tumultuous affair of the life of Ida Noodle, a prisoner of Zion who fought for about 15 years under Soviet rule, played by Gila Almagor;

In the Hebrew classics segment, Hanoch Levin's Craft of Life will be directed by Moshe Kaftan, starring Hannah Leslau and Orly Zilbershtz, who will share the role of Leviva, and Vigal Naor, who will share the role with Natan Datner;

Minyan Nashim, the play written by the author Naomi Regan and directed by Lilach Segal, starring Lia Koenig, about the ultra-Orthodox society in the Mea Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem;

The Warsaw Travel Guide by Hillel Mittelpunkt and directed by him;

An adaptation of a novel by Aharon Appelfeld, Poland, a green country directed by Itzik Weingarten and more.
