(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 19 - Still 30,526 new cases of Covid registered in the last 24 hours in Italy, while the victims are 18, down from 45 yesterday.
On the other hand, for the second consecutive day, both intensive care admissions are increasing - to date there are 199 patients, 6 more than yesterday - and those in ordinary wards, which are 4,398, 67 more in the last 24 hours.
The positivity rate, out of 160,211 buffers, also leaps forward to 19.1%, one percentage point higher than yesterday.
The currently positive figures are also up strongly: they are 593,348 overall, with an increase of 32,333 in the last 24 hours.
In total there are 17,879,160 Italians infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the deaths rise to 167,721.
Idimessi and healed are 17,118,091, with an increase of 1,904.
