A 38-year-old woman, Donatella Miccoli, was killed with a knife by her husband who, after a few hours, was found dead.
The murder took place last night in their home in Novoli (Lecce), shortly before 2. There were no children in the house who would have been brought by their husband to their grandmother's house.
They investigate the carabinieri.
The name of the husband on the run is Matteo Verdesca.
Last night Donatella, her husband and their children were seen together in the square for the feast of St. Louis.
According to initial testimonies, the neighbors would have heard them arguing.
The victim worked as a shop assistant in the Ipercoop shopping center in Surbo (Lecce).
The search for her husband was also carried out with the help of a helicopter.
