Bakri Kasas is recalling its sesame paste.
The product contains salmonella and should not be consumed.
Frankfurt am Main – The company Bakri Kasas, based in Frankfurt am Main, is recalling the Alburji Tahini Sesame product in the 400 gram pack.
Salmonella have been found.
The company is now announcing this.
Affected are the lot numbers P:02/2021 and E:07/2022 PN:4 with the best before date 07/2022.
The goods were traded in Hesse, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg.
You are urgently warned against consumption.

Product recall: Do not eat sesame paste - warning of salmonella
Salmonella disease manifests itself within a few days after infection with diarrhoea, abdominal pain and occasionally vomiting and a slight fever.
Babies, small children, the elderly and people with a weakened immune system in particular can develop more severe illnesses.
Anyone who has eaten this food and develops severe or persistent symptoms should seek medical attention and report a possible salmonella infection.
