Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, has his Bugatti sports car seriously damaged in an accident in Mallorca.
The police confirmed this at the request of the German Press Agency.
The footballer was not in the car, which is said to have cost more than two million euros.
Ronaldo is currently on vacation with his family on the Mediterranean island.
According to media reports, the accident was caused by an employee of the athlete.
The driver was unharmed.
The driver was on Monday morning on a little-used country road in the municipality of Bunyola in the interior of the island when he left the road for unknown reasons and crashed into a house wall, wrote the "Mallorca Zeitung".
