There is hardly a home in Israel that does not hold at least one bag of flakes in the pull-out and there is no Israeli child who is not crazy about a pot of flakes and can eliminate one of these with a spoon in a few moments.
How do you turn this property into a tool that will help children and adults open up to new flavors?
Olga Tuchsher from the food blog and recipes the secret ingredient, does wonders with a bag of baked flakes.
This time she makes from them an Indian dish with carrots, potatoes and peas seasoned with curry and coconut cream.
Thanks to the combination of the coconut cream and the starch of the flakes that is released during cooking, a dish with a thick creamy texture is obtained that is very popular with children and adults.
