(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 20 - An agent and at least two civilians were shot tonight in a shooting in Washington DC, in the northwestern area of the capital, near the MoechellaMusic Festival.
This was reported by the police, who are investigating the incident.
After the gunshots there was panic and general fleeing, as documented by the images posted on social networks by those present.
Police reported that the injured officer was found in stable conditions.
The Moechella Music Festival, organized between 14th and U street, included a serious concert on the occasion of Juneteenth, the new national holiday that commemorates the end of slavery in the USA.
In another shooting, also in Washington DC, a 16-year-old girl was killed.
