Surprises until the last minute.
“Koh-Lanta: the cursed totem” has two winners.
While they were three to face the last vote, Bastien and François obtained as many votes, they will therefore share the 100,000 euros of the victory
(this situation had already occurred in 2003 and 2007)
.
An unresolved issue that puts an end to a somewhat lukewarm edition.
At 9:15 p.m. this Tuesday evening, the show first started with the last four candidates in the running: Géraldine, Jean-Charles, Bastien and François.
The quartet shared a moment of emotion against Denis Brogniart.
Jean-Charles, a 40-year-old fustier
(constructor of log houses and furniture)
, notably mentioned the mourning of his mother, whom he lost shortly before the adventure.
" I can do everything !
Even if tomorrow I wanted to start singing, I could be Madonna, ”said Géraldine, 47, a real estate agent, evoking all the self-confidence she had gained thanks to the game. Bastien, 30 and rope access technician, he now wants to devote more time to his family, even though he hasn't spent Christmas with her for ten years.
Finally, François, a 38-year-old firefighter, confided his desire to become a dad.

Then came the time for the mythical test of the posts.
For two weeks, when it was evoked on the screen for the first time, we wondered what would be the last curse, that of the cursed post.
It was quite predictable: this one, on which Bastien was standing, had a reduced surface from the start of the event: a square of 15 cm side against a rectangle of 20 cm by 15 for the others.
One last twist
After an hour, all the surfaces have been shrunk: 10 x 15 cm for Bastien, 15 x 15 cm for François, Géraldine and Jean-Charles.
Half an hour later everyone found themselves tied on a 10 x 15 cm post.
François was then the first to fall, after an hour and thirty-four minutes of testing, followed six minutes later by Bastien.
After their first two places in orientation, Jean-Charles and Géraldine surprised once again.
But this time, it was Géraldine, the doyenne of the adventure, who won after two hours.
And there, a twist, Denis Brogniart announces that they will usually be three against two facing the final jury.
An unprecedented configuration in the history of the show.
Géraldine chose François to accompany her, and the latter designated Bastien as the final finalist.
Jean-Charles therefore remained on the sidelines.
"I think they didn't choose me because they knew I was going to win," he reacted jokingly and always leaving with a smile on his face, proud to have been good at the end. adventure.
During the last council, the trio found themselves faced with the 11 members eliminated since reunification.
François took a lot of reproaches in the face from Yannick, Colin or Louana.
The others received only praise.
From 10:35 p.m., the program switched live from Paris where the 24 adventurers of this "Koh-Lanta: the cursed totem" met.
The opportunity to make a new call for donations for research on pancreatic cancer, in tribute to Bertrand-Kamal, a former candidate who died in 2020. We also learned that François' partner was pregnant.
After much bla-bla, the handing over of a real immunity necklace to Setha – who had fooled everyone by claiming to have found one when it was fake – and many images looking back at the 39 days of this edition, Denis Brogniart finally counted the votes.
At 11:34 p.m. the verdict fell: Géraldine obtained 3 votes (Olga, Maxime and Louana), Bastien 4 votes (Jean-Charles, Anne-Sophie, Yannick and Colin) and François 4 votes (Fouzi, Nicolas, Ambre and Pauline).
