(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 21 - There are 62,704 new infections from Covid in the last 24 hours, while the victims are 62, a slight increase compared to yesterday's 59.
According to the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health, a total of 292,345 swabs were performed, traantigenic and molecular, with the positive rate of 21.4%, up from 20.9% yesterday.
Patients in intensive care are returning, albeit slightly: there are 206, three fewer than yesterday in the balance between entries and exits, while hospitalized in ordinary wards are 4,803, or 218 more than yesterday.
Currently positive are 599,930, so 25,281 more in the last 24 hours.
A total of 17,959,329 Italians have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the deaths have risen to 167,842.
There are 17,191,557 remitted and healed, with an increase of 37,921 (ANSA).
