, recovering after the covid positivity that forced the

Rolling Stones

to skip two tour dates (Amsterdam-rescheduled to 7 July-and Bern-canceled), in a video message to fans on his social pages gives him an appointment at San Siro for today.

In the city since yesterday is fever for the Stones.

Mobile phones in hand, a small crowd of fans gathered in front of the Four Seasons in the heart of Montenapoleone in the hope of being able to uncap a photo with the band idol of generations.

The group returns to Italy after five years for the only Italian stage of the Stones Sixty Tour. The almost 35 degrees recorded in the city have not stopped them: there are over twenty, in trepidation, and they continue to peek in the direction of the entrance of the luxurious Milanese hotel.

Someone confesses to having stopped in three hotels in the city to be able to find them.

Others hold a vinyl of 'Tattoo you' or 'Let it bleed' under their arm: "English original" underline.

The marker is held tight in the other hand.

Even the old notepad has not gone out of fashion and the few without it borrow some slips of paper to take home the precious autograph.

In the group there are also some regulars.

One of them defines himself as a "VIP hunter" and boasts a collection of over two thousand photos of famous people.

Another arrives from Turin for the concert, stays at the Principe di Savoia hotel and says he is disappointed: "They have been there for 50 years, but this time they have changed".

The stage under the hotel is however "obligatory".

They speculate: "Will they go out to rehearse?"

Or maybe "Will they go to dinner?".

Even curious passers-by stop to ask who is there.

When they hear 'Rolling Stones' the reaction is always the same: wide eyes, "Indeed".

They multiply by the minute for over an hour.

And friendships are also born, thanks to the shared passion for the British group.

During the post, many exchange telephone numbers to meet again at tomorrow's concert.

While the rest of the band landed on Sunday evening at Milan Malpensa airport, frontman Mick Jagger arrived today and is staying at the Bulgari hotel, also in the Brera area.

On the pages of the band the images of the Milan stage under construction.
