The number of Ukrainian students at German schools has now risen to more than 138,000.
This was announced by the Conference of Ministers of Education (KMK) in Berlin.
According to this, the federal states reported 138,670 students from Ukraine who were admitted to their schools for the 24th calendar week that ended on Sunday.
That was an increase of about 3750 from the previous week.
No new weekly numbers were reported from some federal states, for example due to school holidays.
These included Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg.
In the other federal states, the weekly increase was between 20 in Saarland and 964 in Lower Saxony.
The figures published by the KMK relate to general schools and vocational schools.
Around 10,150 students from Ukraine are admitted to vocational schools.
