Biden calls for joint efforts to lower gasoline prices

(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, JUN 22 - Joe Biden not only asked Congress to suspend the federal gasoline tax for 90 days but urged states to do the same and renewed his appeal to the majors to increase the refining of crude oil and to decrease the price, without "taking advantage" of the war in Ukraine.

The president also expressed his applause at OPEC + 's decision to increase oil production.
