Cool down your apartment: try these ten tricks
Ventilate properly
: As is well known, fresh and cooler air comes into the apartment when it is ventilated.
But be careful: In midsummer you should pay attention to the time of day before opening all the windows.
At midday, when the sun is high, bring warmer air into the house.
This increases the temperatures.
It is therefore better to ventilate in the morning or at night when it is colder outside.
Close outdoor blinds during the day
: If you don't mind going about your daily life in darker rooms, consider closing the outdoor blinds during the heat of the summer.
If they are light in color, you have another advantage: They reflect the light, which means that the apartment does not heat up as quickly.
Aluminum Foil Trick
: Don't have external blinds to reflect light?
No problem: Stick aluminum foil to the outside windows.

Frozen water bottle trick

Depending on the size of the room, two or three bottles might be necessary.

Turn off electronic devices
: You can make a small change by turning off electronic devices that are not required.
These include, for example, the television or the PC.
Also, try not to cook too hot in the summer, as this creates extra heat.
Fans instead of mobile air conditioners

Incidentally, if you can no longer stand the heat, it is advisable to use the fan instead, as it usually consumes less electricity.
