(ANSA) - ROME - There are 3 starred Italian restaurants out of 11 in total in the first Michelin Guide of Dubai and Dubai Selection 2022. Italy is in the "red", the food and wine vademecum, presented today, with three brands of as many big names: The Restaurant - Niko Romito, Two Michelin Stars, Armani Ristorante, one Michelin Star, Torno Subito, one Michelin Star, Massimo Bottura's Italian restaurant in the Marriott group resort.
The fledgling publication features 69 restaurants covering 21 types of cuisine: 14 restaurants receive the Bib Gourmand, 9 One Michelin Star and 2 Two Michelin Stars.
With the guide Dubai - informs a note - thus joins the list of 35 gastronomic destinations distributed in North America, South America, Asia Pacific and Europe.
The selection of the restaurants was carried out according to the methodology applied by the Michelin Guide inspectors, based on a series of five universally applied criteria, including the quality of the ingredients, mastery in the kitchen, harmony of flavors, the personality of the chef through the cuisine and consistency over time and throughout the menu.
