PS Plus: August 2022 Free Games - Brilliant skater game could come

PS Plus will again offer subscribers free games for PS4 and PS5 in August 2022.
This month, console fans could get a free skater game.
Hamburg – The new PS Plus hasn't even started on PS5 and PS4 yet, so the rumor mill about Sony's subscription service for the PlayStation is already rolling over again.
The roller skating fun Rollerdrome is said to be included in the PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium games library completely free of charge for the release in August.
As reported by IPPEN.MEDIA ingame.de, players claim to have found concrete evidence for this assumption.

PS Plus: Fans are sure that Rollerdrome will be free for the August release
Will Rollerdrome be available for free via PS Plus Extra and Premium at launch?
So far, at least, this has not been officially confirmed by Sony.
However, fans on Reddit are certain that Rollerdrome will be available to download for free when it is released in August.
The players base their guess on the exact release date of Rollerdrome.
Normally, games appear digitally at midnight sharp.
In the PSN, the release of Rollerdrome on August 16 falls in the middle of the day.
This has only been the case with one other game recently: the cat adventure and PS Plus free game Stray.
Sony has already confirmed here that the cute adventure will be available free of charge for subscribers to PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium.

In addition, both Stray in June and Rollerdrome in August appear on the third Tuesday of the month.
Possibly just a strange coincidence, but it could also be part of a fresh release strategy on the part of Sony for their new PS Plus.
Whether the fans are actually right cannot be estimated with certainty at the moment.
In any case, the chances are not bad that there is at least a grain of truth in the PS Plus rumors about Rollerdrome.
Gamers on the PlayStation will find out in August at the latest whether the game will make it into the PS Plus Extra or Premium program.
Meanwhile, it seems unlikely that Rollerdrome will also be available for free to PS Plus Essential subscribers.

The new title from OlliOlli-makers Roll7 was unveiled at Sony's last State of Play and will be released on August 16th for PS5, PS4 and PC.
The first trailer for Rollerdrome brings back memories of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and promises stylish roller insoles with a minimalist cel-shaded look - and a whole lot of guns.
