Media mogul Rupert Murdoch and ex-model Jerry Hall are getting divorced, according to a report in the New York Times.
The newspaper relies on two people who are familiar with the process.
They are not named in the article.
It would be the fourth divorce for the 91-year-old multi-billionaire.
Born in Australia, Hall married in London in March 2016.
At the time, he wrote on Twitter that he felt like "the happiest and most cheerful man in the world."
Murdoch's spokesman did not want to confirm the report of the divorce when asked by the newspaper and the AFP news agency.
Spokesman Bryce Tom also declined to comment on a request from the Reuters news agency.
According to "NYT" and Reuters, a spokeswoman for Hall has not yet responded to a corresponding request.
Hall, 65, is known as a model, actress and is best known for her association with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.
She had married the singer in a Hindu ceremony in Bali in 1990, but when they separated nine years later, a court ruled that the ceremony was not legally binding.
Hall and Jagger have four children together.
Murdoch has six children.
Murdoch's fortune is estimated by the business magazine "Forbes" at the equivalent of more than 16 billion euros.
His media empire includes some of the largest newspapers in the world, including London's The Times and the tabloids The Sun and New York Post.
Murdoch's first marriage was to Patricia Booker.
The couple have one daughter and divorced in the mid-1960s.
Murdoch has three children with his second wife, Anna Murdoch Mann.
This marriage ended in 1999. After 14 years, his marriage to Wendi Deng also ended in 2014;
the two have two children together.
