Old master Hideo Kojima is working on a new game for the Xbox Series X. The developer has wanted to realize the project for a long time.

was no shortage of surprises at the large
Xbox x Bethesda Games Showcase .
In addition to plenty of trailers, release dates and a large portion of
"Xbox Exclusives"
, developer legend Hideo Kojima was also given space in the big Xbox show.
Along with Head of Xbox Phil Spencer, the creator of Metal Gear and Death Stranding announced that they are working on a brand new brand for Xbox Series X, as reported by IPPEN.MEDIA ingame.de.

What do we already know about Hideo Kojima's new Xbox game?
During the Xbox x Bethesda Games Showcase, Hideo Kojima didn't reveal too much about his new baby.
As usual, the developer legend remained very vague in his statements.
His new game for Xbox is extraordinary, unprecedented and relies on the power of the Microsoft cloud:

I've waited very long for the day when I could finally start to create it.

With regard to a period in which Kojima's new game will celebrate its release, the old master did not allow himself to be elicited anything in his brief appearance during the Xbox show.

.
The horror game is said to be starring actress
Sarah Margaret Qualley
, who previously worked with Kojima
through her role as
Mama in Death Stranding.

With Overdose, the star developer could once again embark on a path that he already wanted to tread in 2014 with the horror demo PT.
The
playable teaser
was originally intended to get players in the mood for a new Silent Hill by Hideo Kojima, but had to be discontinued due to disputes with publisher Konami.

According to rumors, however, a new Silent Hill from Konami is currently in development.
In addition to Overdose, or the still nameless Xbox project, Kojima Productions is said to be working on a Death Stranding sequel and an unannounced launch title for PSVR 2 at the same time
Will Hideo Kojima's new game be an Xbox exclusive?
This has not yet been officially confirmed.
Normally, the developer chooses his words with the utmost care.
In the brief appearance during the Xbox x Bethesda Games Showcase, Kojima did not speak of an Xbox exclusive game.
Kojima Productions, Kojima's development studio, is also a free third-party developer who could in principle develop for any platform.
However, Kojima also mentioned that he will be working with Xbox Game Studios and using the Microsoft Cloud for his upcoming game - so not a good sign for Sony PS5 fans for now.
However, there is a glimmer of hope for PS5 gamers, Kojima Productions has already announced via Twitter that it will continue to work with Sony in the future.
