New York photographer Robert Barbera is suing singer Dua Lipa.
He accuses the British star of having published without his authorization on his Instagram page, photos he took of her in July 2018. According to information from
Billboard
, the paparazzi is claiming damages from the interpreter of
Levitating
and interest and the reimbursement of his legal costs.
Robert Barbera reportedly discovered the photos in question on Dua Lipa's Instagram page in June 2019. The pop singer wore a black flocked "HEROES" sweater there.
He explains that he first wanted to resolve this matter amicably but that the negotiations were cut short when the star with 84.7 million subscribers became aware of the draft complaint;
the images were then deleted from his account.

Without Plaintiff's permission or authorization, Defendant willfully selected, copied, stored, and displayed each of Plaintiff's copyrighted photographs
," reads the complaint.
The singer has already faced a first complaint for similar facts.
Last July, Dua Lipa was sued by Integral Images and the case was dismissed, reports NME.
The paparazzi Robert Barbera is a regular at the exercise.
He previously sued Justin Bieber for similar reasons, a process that ended in a settlement.
Or Ariana Grande, against whom he was dismissed twice.
