Camila Giorgi has qualified for the semifinal of Rothesay International, the WTA 500 tennis tournament taking place on the grass of Eastbourne's Devonshire Park.
The 30-year-old from Macerata, n.26 in the ranking and 12 / seeded, reaches the 20th WTA semifinal in her career, the second in a row at Eastbourne, beating the Bulgarian, 128th in the ranking, Viktoriya Tomova in the quarterfinals: by 6-2 , 6-1 the final score.
In the semifinal Giorgi will face the winner of the match between the Latvian Jelena Ostapenko and the Ukrainian Anna Kalinina.
