An employee of a security service at the "Hurricane" festival in Lower Saxony was still sleeping in his tent when it was hit by a crawler excavator and taken away.
The 23-year-old excavator driver, who threw the tent in the garbage on Thursday morning during the clean-up work in Scheeßel, had not previously checked whether there were still people in it.
The security staff landed with the tent on a garbage trailer.
He remained unharmed in the action, as the police in Rotenburg announced on Friday.
