With his ironic and comic films, without the need for a spoken language, he surpassed Charli D'Amelio (142.2 million), an American dancer who posts choreographies with trendy songs.
Khaby Lame, 22, born in Dakar and arrived in Italy when he was one year old, became famous with the social network, reaching such popularity that he was named as a juror in the section dedicated to tiktokers at the Cannes festival.
An experience that made him say he wanted to try cinema, after working as a worker in Turin and being fired in March 2020, with the Covid 19 pandemic.
