(ANSA) - KIEV, JUN 24 - Ukrainian forces have received the order to withdraw from the strategic city of Severodonetsk, in the eastern Ukraine region of Lugansk: the governor of the region announced this.
Ukrainian forces will have to withdraw from Severodonetsk, Lugansk region governor Sergiy Gaidai wrote on Telegram after weeks of tough fighting against Russians in the city.
"The Ukrainian armed forces will have to withdraw from Severodonetsk. They have been ordered to do so," Gaidai said.
