Secondary ticketing, Agcom fines ViaGogo for 23.5 million

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 24 - Agcom has adopted a fine of € 23,580,000 against the company Viagogo AG for violating the rules on secondary ticketing and has ordered it to remove the illegal content still present on the site within seven days.

    The investigation by the Authority ascertained violations of the rules on the sale or placement on the website www.viagogo.it of admission tickets for 131 events - at prices even up to six / seven times higher than the nominal ones - to identify artists such as Maneskin, Vasco Rossi, Sting, GreenDay, Dua Lipa, Pearl Jam, Placebo, Cesare Cremonini, Paolo Contee Andrea Bocelli.
