The notes of “Running Up That Hill” by Kate Bush resonate on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
It is at number 44 that the ephemeral “Stranger Things” store has set up shop for the summer.
On two floors there is an impressive reconstruction of the emblematic places of the successful fantasy series whose season 4 was launched at the end of May on Netflix: the Russian laboratory, the Starcourt shopping center, the Palace Arcade... Gina, a law student, is a fan from the first hour.
She matched her glitter makeup to the colors of the fiction: black and red.
“On the first floor, we find the famous sofa of Joyce
(on the screen, the mother of Will, one of the main characters)
where the little band of teenagers meet to try to save the world.
Above are the light bulbs of all colors that they use to communicate when they are in the evil world.
The sets are truly amazing!
We feel like we are with them.

To perfect the atmosphere, a special 80s soundtrack plays in the shop and puts all generations in agreement.
Even the light is worked: depending on the rooms, we go from darkness to the silvery reflections of the disco ball of Rinko Mania where the heroes meet to go rollerblading.

Countless t-shirts, bucket hats, sweatshirts but also cups, stuffed animals, blankets, vinyl: it is impossible not to find what you are looking for, provided you pay the price.
