It makes you wonder who could be spared by the new Omicron BA.5 variant and its "little brother" BA.4.
These are now the majority in France - two thirds of daily cases, hit by a 7th epidemic wave.
Above all, they present an immune escape such that they can infect people who have already caught Omicron (BA.1 or BA.2) for the first time in the past and/or who have been vaccinated, according to several studies published in recent days.
