(ANSA) - MUNICH, JUN 25 - Banners, colored balloons, music: shouting slogans against the war but also for the defense of the climate, some thousands of people paraded through the streets of the center of Munich in protest against the G7 summit, scheduled from 26 to 28 June at Elmau Castle, in the Bavarian Alps.
At the start of the procession that began on the esplanade where the Oktoberfest takes place every year in the capital of Bavaria, according to the German police, about 3,500 people were present (initially at least 20,000 people were expected) but the demonstration will continue throughout the afternoon.
The march, organized by 15 organizations for the defense of the environment and the fight against inequalities, from Attac to the WWF, moved the first steps in a peaceful way and for the moment there have been no accidents.
