(ANSA) - TEHRAN, June 25 - "We are ready to resume talks in Vienna to revive the nuclear agreement and remove US sanctions in the coming days".
This was confirmed by the Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, in a press conference with Josep Borrell, underlining his appreciation of the diplomatic efforts and the negotiation of francs that would bring results, including the economic benefits of the nuclear agreement.
"Iran is trying to remove the obstacles on the way to the new talks and hopes that the US too will have a realistic and fair view on these and undertake responsibility to finalize the agreement," he added.
Borrell had announced in a tweet that "my visit to Tehran has one main goal:
It has been three months since I put the Vienna talks on hold.
We must stop the current escalation dynamic and accelerate our work.
We must close the agreement now ".
