Sony merged PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now.

The new extra subscription includes countless games.

We present the highlights here.

The new PlayStation Plus is now available.

Many fans are jumping on the new game collections and titles that they have not played before.

The new extra subscription includes numerous PS4 and PS5 games that subscribers can play directly at no additional cost.

Sony has now launched the counterpart to Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass - but the new PS Plus subscriptions have a major disadvantage.

PS Plus Extra users are now spoiled for choice as to which games they want to play.

Also coming in July is Stray, a game where players put themselves in the shoes of a stray cat.

It is one of the most exciting releases of the near future and it will be integrated into PS Plus Extra right after the release.

PS Plus Extra games can be downloaded at any time

As a PS Plus Extra subscriber, you can download and play any of the included titles in the games collection at any time.

That means the games are played in the best quality.

The option to stream certain content via the cloud is only available on the Premium plan.
