Two injured are in mortal danger

In Riedstadt in southern Hesse, a 33-year-old driver crashed her car into the area of a barbecue hut - and injured several people there.
A total of seven people were injured in the incident at a birthday party, the police said.
Three women were seriously injured in the accident on Friday evening, two of them critically.
After initial investigations, the police assume that the cause of the accident was accidental incorrect operation of the car by the driver, who was also a guest.
At first it was said that the woman had driven through the barbecue hut.

The driver and her husband got into their SUV parked in front of the hut, gave full throttle and drove through the directly adjacent, covered lounge area, the police said.
Three women aged 39, 41 and 43, including the hostess, were seriously injured - one of them was taken to the hospital by helicopter.
As the police announced on Saturday, two of the seriously injured were in mortal danger.
Three other people aged 37, 43 and 44 and the driver escaped with minor injuries.
Other guests were cared for by a pastor.
Around 75 emergency services were deployed after the incident in the Riedstadt district of Crumstadt.
