(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 25 - Italy won the gold medal in the 4x100 mixed relay for men at the Duna Arena, on the last day of the World Swimming Championships.
Thomas Ceccon, NicolòMartinenghi, Federico Burdisso and Alessandro Miressi beat the United States, silver, and Great Britain, bronze.
Italy also set the new European record, with a time of 3: 27.51, ahead of the United States by 28 cents and the British by over three seconds.
It is the tenth medal of Italy in this edition of the World Cup.
