Prince Charles of England allegedly accepted a suitcase containing one million euros in cash from a

former Qatari premier

, sheikh Hamad bin Jprio, one of three donations totaling 3 million euros in cash made between 2011 and 2015 and

then paid to charities

sponsored by the Prince of Wales.

The Sunday Times writes it, making it known that the curious news does not involve any suspicion that something has been done illegally.

Clarence House, Carlo's official residence, makes it known that all

legal procedures

have been done correctly.

According to the Times Sunday, at least once the money was given directly to Prince Charles in the suitcase, while on another occasion the cash was stored in the bags of the prestigious Fortnum & Mason deli shop in London.

The funds were received by the Prince of Wales's Charitable Fund, a foundation that manages various charitable organizations dedicated to "good causes", such as education, environmental protection, health and social inclusion.
