Mont Blanc (4807 m) has never been so hot as the weekend of June 18 and 19 and the alpine glaciers are melting at high speed. The saws


“Worrying”, “catastrophic”, “exceptional”… Scientists do not mince words to qualify the melting of the Alpine glaciers during the abnormally scorching spring which has just ended.

On the weekend of June 18 and 19, Mont Blanc (4,807 m) broke a record: the mercury at the Col Major weather station (4,750 m), located below the summit, exceeded the 10° mark. C for the first time in its history, posting 10.4°C.
