Hamburger, pizza and dessert that everyone shoots for Story: Equivalent food recommendations in London

True, every perfect bite in this wonderful city means you're giving up a hundred other perfect bites for it, but you have to start somewhere, no?

Mandatory travel required.

Even the coffee is perfect.

London (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

Opens this time (as every time, who am I working for?) With a small but sweeping optimization proposal - anyone who occasionally holds a keyboard in hand and writes about it with food will have to travel to London once every two years.

This clearly also applies to architectural and transportation reporters, government and celebs, entertainment culture and sports, but given that I am not in a position to inflate travel budgets for all local media systems, and given that I usually talk about food, we will settle for that this time.

To all the columns of "Eaters are going"

because all the "best" Tel Aviv becomes there "Oh, in fact it was only reasonable."

Every "perfect bite" gets a proportional filter, and every "Israeli food is amazing, the best in the world" is modest a minute after he signs a passport.

So yes, a mandatory trip to a kingdom is required that will calibrate and synchronize all the internal, and external jargon.

Talk to your editors.

So I drove, and I realized that every amazing place I ate at necessarily meant I had given up a hundred equally amazing places.

It's exhausting, because every hamburger had to be the one, and only, fish and fries that must not fall in, coffee and pastries because we only have six mornings and we will not settle for less of an Instagram flavor bomb, and more and more and more.

At the end a list was formed, and recommendations piled up, but they come with a shining star - silly to write an item "Food Recommendations in London".

It's too huge and too pretentious and too responsible.

So let's call it "delicious things * I * ate in London," and not involve lawyers.

Good ride, and with an appetite!

Morning

They open early, with a showcase already kicking off at the start, and don’t stop until closing

A strategic decision to give up whole and large breakfasts in advance led to an equally strategic sub-decision - coffee and pastries.

Lists were filtered, places mapped, and landscaped, and we were finally left with some potential hotspots within a short morning walk radius (very short, it's before coffee, remember).

We have a neighborhood that is blessed with two close branches of Gail's Bakery, and indeed we spent quite a bit there, in the morning and also as part of the four afternoon coffee.

They open early, with a showcase that kicks off at the beginning, and do not stop until closing, with a supply that includes, among other things, a heavy but light-tasting mother and cheese croissant, brownie fingers, cinnamon pastries rich in sugar flakes and quite a few other temptations (scones, We mean scones).

Oh, and the coffee is excellent, not to mention the boiling price (if you remember how much it would have cost you in Tel Aviv, of course).

natural awakening.

Croissant Tower.

Box Carr Egg Salad Sandwich (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

Box Car closed another breakfast corner for us (and another one, once we realized the qualities here) with even more special outings, in the form of a carafe whose top was plucked in favor of an egg salad or smoked salmon, then put back in place to create the perfect breakfast sandwich.

There are also maccha pastries, almond croissants and chocolate items - all fresh and crunchy and frustrating knowing that the capacity is limited and there is also lunch.

The coffee?

Better a map.

Payment: Half map.

Trust has been restored.

When I say "cute", I mean all the cuties you do not have on the morning, because it was all taken over by the charming and colorful, colorful and sweet branches

Avoiding a “formal” meal gave way in the middle of the holiday to a highly anticipated visit to Daisy Green, the Marylebon location of the cute Australian coffee shop chain.

And when I say "cute", I mean all the cuteness you do not have for the morning, because it was all taken over by the charming and colorful, colorful and sweet branches.

The early menu includes avocado toast and poached egg that restores confidence in avocado toast, a sandwich whose boundaries are bordered by banana-hail, fruity pancakes, and a very impressive collection of Lemington cakes.

There is also a Bottomeless Brunch if you are interested, and lunch and dinner options of course.

Coffee and prices?

Let's not talk about it, we're already back to pay in shekels.

What more?

OLE & STEEN are opening very successful counters around the city in a Danish orientation, and Fabrik are providing a Swedish response, on bread and cinnamon.

Comptoir Gourmand also shells and MIEL scatters some Paris on the sidewalks.

All of these, with these or other pinpoon levels, will provide you with an excellent coffee and pastry experience (and more pastry, come on), at a price we've already talked about.

But there are also chains, chief among them the fast and common and terribly efficient PRET, with fresh breakfast sandwiches, squeezed juices, fruits and snacks and basically everything we wanted to get at any of our local chains - and we never really succeeded.

Lunch, dinner and everything we managed to eat before lunch and after dinner

Introduction to the East.

The Indian power dominates the capital of England with five branches, and has expanded nicely throughout the kingdom, but this network has not affected the quality

Needless to say, I recommend eating there five times already, but we warned in advance that this is an area free from criticism and condescension, therefore.

The Indian power dominates the capital of England with five branches, and has expanded beautifully throughout the kingdom, but this network has not affected the quality.

On the contrary.

This is a properly executed Mumbai-Biseek, packed with options and spicy grades, and full of flavors, at prices that ... well, we already understood.

The location is dizzying, and the menu usually offers okra and samosas, chicken tikka and paneer cheese, as well as Persian-speaking dishes, and a refreshing mango lassi.

From there, you can already advance to the other successful Indians in town, or just return.

Pizza and show.

Popular Circolo (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

A popular circus may have been defined as an Italian restaurant, but it was more correct, and more accurate, to label it as a six-sensory attack that leaves behind piles of delicious food.

The restaurant, part of the Big Mama local group, holds and maintains a huge and crowded space, designed in a disturbed section and one that does not give rest to the eyes, or to the story.

Apart from it, you will find here formidable distribution plates of locally cut carpaccio, cheesy pastas, great pizzas and also a tiramisu that would have done honor in the boot country as well.

one of a kind.

Dean Tai Pong's Dumping (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

Health bomb.

Din Tai Pong soup (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

The rise of Dean Tai Fong's London, easily the most famous dumpling chain in the world, took place a few years ago, has expanded to a second branch and is moving on.

We went up to the fourth floor of Selfridges (only after a two-hour round on his dining floor, of course), and for the same price we got a particularly successful view, as well as the soup dumplings we had been dreaming of at check-in.

Apart from them, you will also find Wen ton and gyoza, noodles and soups, and especially a strong sense of professionalism in an uncompromising pastry.

Oh, and there are robots that serve and turn away, but we're not here to scare.

Eat, and roll.

Big Easy Mac & Cheese Lobster (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

Americana.

Ribs of Big Easy (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

The Big Easy barbecue combination makes New Orleans in London with a triangle of branches, and according to a visit to Covent Garden, it is not going to stop there.

This is Americana on speeds, including music and cocktails, crabs and seafood, and a meaty side that makes any hunger confused.

We went for a large Mac & Cheese Lobster pan, smoked ribs, and fries fried three times - and from there let the body roll itself up to the bed.

Climatically adapted.

Bon Daddy's Ramen (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

Disturbed deal.

Bon Daddy's Banz (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

Continue to downsize the largest city in Europe without shame, and this time - just one ramen recommendation, in the form of the wonderful Bon Daddies on the edge of Hidden Christopher Street (or its other branches of course).

This is a small restaurant, devoid of pose and judgment, which produces huge bowls of steaming soup, satisfying and rich in ingredients.

There’s also a maddening bun roll deal that can feed you a fried chicken-salmon-duck combination, and a general sense of rock and roll.

Juicy and delicious.

Honest Burger Hamburger (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

The error has been corrected.

Honest Burger Onion Rings (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

The fix came with a small bowl of gravy bacon and beef, which is seemingly deep, and actually the shower you always wanted to do

Crazy to think of a lone burger recommendation, but the reservations have already been given, and this is not the time to regret it - Honest has started to impress effectively across London, and rightly so, as it maintains effective simplicity and flavors, and even provides a happy menu surprise.

The burgers themselves are excellent and juicy, the fries are great and the onion rings are crispy but suffer from a slightly unfortunate administrative decision to add fennel seeds to their batter.

All of this, however, is fixed by a small bowl of Grabby Bacon and Cattle, which is seemingly deep, and in practice the shower you always wanted to do.

Apart from that, one can walk quietly to Patty & Ban and rave about meatballs and spicy and smoked chicken bowls, one can also go lower in the self-importance chain and get into one of the five guys scattered around the city.

It's a burger, and it's good, so no one will judge you.

Markets, and things eaten in markets

There is a picture, you can continue.

Metropolitano Mayfer (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

The base was and remains Borough Market, and nothing has happened here to challenge that assumption.

You can also return to it quietly even if you visited it recently (or even yesterday, do not ask how I know).

The others move and sway in a kind of scale that weighs quality and taste, trendiness and mood.

This means, for example, that the Metropolitano Mercato chain can provide you with a fun experience (and especially photogenic in the Mayer extension), but also that maybe after the second drink you will move on to another market.

The Shoreditz neighborhood offers the more festive boxpark, the Covent Garden area can divert you towards the very successful Seven-Dials Market and any feeding center wherever it is will give you a food hall that in the country would already make a much bigger noise, and here it just does the job.

Something to drink, though

Break from the chase.

A cocktail by Mr. Fugez (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

Cheers.

London's Cup (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

This bar has taken over an amazing building from the 1930s, turning it into an eighties dream theater and below that, in the best section that can be

The cliché says there is nothing like the London Happy Hour, and it is true to the point of exhaustion, but there is no reason to limit your alcohol to the hands of the clock.

So the street corners are crowded with employees who know every morning how much fun awaits them at five in the afternoon, and the street centers are studded with countless other bars - cheap and elegant, old-fashioned and nostalgic, and somehow no one annoys you in service or when the bill comes.

Still, two recommendations that are worth a special effort - Zedel is a brasserie-bar that took over an amazing building from the 1930s, turning it into an eighties dream theater and below that, in the best segment it can be.

The stairs are dramatic and the elevators are comical, the entrance is cinematic and if you are like us, then you sit down at the bar and watch the magic take place.

There are classic cocktails and more modern outings, and especially a feeling that the * duchess * will soon come in here, say hello to the bartender and start the waiter.

Mr. Fujis stretches across several locations, and manages to get the job done in each of them.

This is a bar chain with a frame story that draws inspiration, and more than that, from "Around the World in Eighty Days", but does so without cheesiness and without rolling your eyes, but with special cocktails, saturated with aromatic plants, and the required vibe of a break from the London chase The little exhausting.

something sweet?

Bones Cookies Cookie (Photo: Walla !, Yaniv Granot)

The aggressive lust for desserts that took over us every evening entailed, embarrassingly, long and vigorous walks, extensive use of Google from scratch and a unfortunate and challenging feeling on the other hand of Pomo.

The latter was solved in most cases with the always wonderful donuts of crispy cream (when in the country, by the way?), With the solid cookies of Ben's Cookies (for immediate eating please, then they are a boomerang and nothing more) and with quite a few successful spots of real ice cream.

Watch the loop.

CREME white chocolate and miso cookie (Photo: Giphy, Yaniv Granot)

Alongside these, both Fuwa Fuwa's tall and fluffy Japanese pancakes (airy and delicious as advertised) and Creme's Instagram hit were also provided, in the form of a very tight and very successful cookie menu, offering a non-over-sweetened chunky catharsis, and also vegan (if desired). They have double-chocolate, of course).

At one point during the vacation I was asked remotely if I had any other things planned in my schedule besides “eating things and taking pictures of them.” I naturally answered that there were also things I ate without taking pictures, Suitcase with things that can be eaten and not in the country.

You can do better than that. Have a good trip!
