Alex Marquez, 26, will leave Honda-LCR to join the Ducati-Gresini team in 2023, announced the team from Faenza, committed to MotoGP.
Marc Marquez's brother (Honda) will join Fabio Di Giannantonio, confirmed.
"For me it is essential to change to find the same kind of motivation I had when I entered this category" in 2020, the Spaniard said in a statement.
World champion in the lower categories Moto3 (2014) and Moto2 (2019), Alex Marquez has never confirmed himself since his arrival in MotoGP, finishing 14 / o and then 16 / o in the world rankings.
This year, mid-season, he is 18 / o.
Enea Bastianini, who at the age of 24 won his first three GPs this season with the Gresini team, will therefore leave the Ducati satellite team.
The Italian, revelation of the first part of the season with victories in Qatar, the United States and France, "from next year he will ride an official Ducati", writes the Gresini team in its statement.
It remains to be seen whether in the official Ducati team or in the Ducati-Pramac satellite.
The waltz of the seats available for next season could then send the Spaniard Jorge Martin, currently in Pramac, to the official Ducati team.
As for the French Johann Zarco, he should remain on the Ducati-Pramac.
Ducati is looking for a rider to accompany Francesco Bagnaia next year and replace Australian Jack Miller, who will move to KTM.
