(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 26 - Some explosions were heard at dawn in Kiev.
This was reported by the Kiev Independent, which speaks of three explosions.
According to what was reported on social media, the explosions would have been more numerous, at least four, and were caused by Russian cruise missiles: at the moment it is not known whether they ended up on the targets or if they were intercepted by the anti-aircraft.
The warning of the air attack rang out more times during the night in the Ukrainian capital.
"Four explosions were heard, now there is black smoke over the city. The missiles have hit residential buildings, there is still no information on any victims," Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko wrote on Twitter about the missile attack that took place this morning, towards 6.30am locales in Kiev.
According to reports from the mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, the people residing in the affected buildings were rescued and evacuated.
