Credem offers a month of coverage against pandemic effects

This is the initiative launched by Credemassicurazioni, the insurance company of the Credem Group, one of the main Italian banking groups.

"The idea - explains Rossella Manfredi, general manager of Credemvita and Credemassicurazioni - stems from the fact that the insurance market, in particular the world of health and income protection and protection policies, has recorded low claims in recent years. for example, the blocking of layoffs as well as the difficulties encountered in carrying out specialist visits in recent years and how these aspects may have influenced the normal functioning of these policies ".

The initiative will involve more than 30,000 policyholders.

“Being at the side of its customers has always been Credemassicurazioni's mission - continues CEO Manfredi - We want to demonstrate once again, through a concrete gesture, that we are close to customers in such a complex moment.

Last year, interventions aimed at supporting and protecting people had already been devised and implemented, such as the extension of the coverage provided for hospitalizations also to cases of quarantine in one's home imposed by a positive buffer.

In recent months, our commitment has certainly not diminished, we have continued to work with passion and determination to define other initiatives aimed at supporting families in a delicate moment like the one that the pandemic has left us as a legacy ".

All the people involved in the initiative will be able to go to the branch or directly access their reserved area to activate the policy discount.

“This new extraordinary initiative will allow our policyholders to continue to protect themselves with greater peace of mind, in the present and in the future, also for their loved ones, at a reduced cost of insurance coverage.

With this gesture, by giving a month of protection, we want to concretely demonstrate our support ”, concludes Manfredi.

The consultancy firm Prometeia also developed the initiative in partnership with Credemassicurazioni.
