(ANSA) - LUXEMBOURG, June 27 - "We knew from the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine by Russia that a very serious interruption" of Russian gas "is possible, now it seems likely".
This was said by the European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson, at the end of the Energy Council.
"Gazprom has already announced a maintenance of Nord Stream 1 from 11 to 21 July. Further decisions by Russia to arbitrarily exclude countries or companies cannot be ruled out," he pointed out.
