Especially when you are alone and have no one who can take a look at your valuables, they have to be protected from thieves somehow.

This can be washed out properly with soap so that all sunscreen residues are removed.
Then the bottle can be cut open with a knife just below the opening.
Keys, cash and the like fit wonderfully into the inside of the bottle through this hole.
