A mega fire broke out in Rome near a nomad camp on the Aurelia.
At the moment there are no reported injuries but 15 people were poisoned by the smoke.
Firefighters and emergency vehicles were on site: the flames also touched a tank depot and some houses.
According to preliminary information, some brushwood caught fire: the flames, thanks to the hot wind, immediately spread.
The flames broke out around 2 pm in via Bosco Marengo, near the Roma camp of the Monachina.
The hot wind fueled the fire and the flames reached via Aurelia, at exit 1 of the Grande Raccordo Anulare (km 11): a column of smoke rose visible from kilometers away.
The flames, in addition to licking houses, also arrived near a sports center.
Fires are also reported in Pomezia and in the Osteria Nuova area.
