A mega fire broke out in Rome near a nomad camp in via Bosco Marengo.
Two people, a woman and a child, were transported in yellow code to the Gemelli Polyclinic.
According to what is learned about 35 people, all inhabitants of the buildings around the area affected by the flames, were visited on the street by the 118 staff. Almost all of them show symptoms of smoke poisoning.
On site the firefighters and emergency vehicles: the flames also licked a tank depot and some houses.
According to preliminary information, some brushwood caught fire: the flames, thanks to the hot wind, immediately spread.
The flames broke out around 2 pm in via Bosco Marengo, near the Roma camp of the Monachina.
The hot wind fueled the fire and the flames reached via Aurelia, at exit 1 of the Grande Raccordo Anulare (km 11): a column of smoke rose visible from kilometers away.
The flames, in addition to licking houses, also arrived near a sports center.
Fires are also reported in Pomezia and in the Osteria Nuova area.
