A deadly shooting broke out at a fast-food restaurant in the US state of Georgia.
According to initial reports, a customer had complained to the staff that too much mayonnaise had been smeared on his sandwich.
He argued loudly with two women who worked at the Subway branch.
For reasons that have not yet been clarified, he unexpectedly opened fire and killed one of the employees.
The other was injured and taken to a hospital.
According to police, the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. local time on Sunday at the restaurant next to a gas station in Atlanta.
So far there is no information on suspects or arrests.
"What you're seeing is the result of a tragedy, a senseless tragedy like the one we've seen a number of times this year, where an argument leads to gunfire and now we've got a dead person," interim local police chief Darin Schierbaum told the broadcaster WSB TV.
Restaurant co-owner Willie Glenn said: "It breaks my heart to see someone having the audacity to point their gun at someone and shoot them for something as trivial as too much mayonnaise on a sandwich," said he.
