Stir-fried flakes (Photo: Alon Mesika, Styling: Yael Magen)
There is hardly a house in Israel that does not hold at least one bag of flakes in the pull-out and there is no Israeli child who is not crazy about a pot of flakes and can eliminate one of these with a spoon in a few moments.
How do you turn this property into a tool that will help children and adults open up to new flavors?
Olga Tuchsher from the food blog and recipes the secret ingredient, does wonders with a bag of baked flakes.
The flakes this time, she turns into a stir-fry that hides a variety of vegetables and wraps everything in a sweet and delicious Asian sauce of soy, peanut butter, maple and garlic.
The slight stirring of the vegetables with the oil preserves their nutritional values and thanks to the favorite flakes, even the reluctant children will be happy to taste.
