"It's a very good initiative to preserve nature and regulate the intense flow of tourists," says Bertrand Luche, who came to enjoy the sun in the Calanque de Sugiton with his QR code.
Since Sunday June 26, the Calanque de Sugiton in Marseille is only accessible by reservation.
To protect the calanque from very marked erosion linked to overcrowding, access to Sugiton will be by free reservation on Sunday June 26, Sunday July 3, then every day from July 10 to August 21, 2022.

During busy periods, the small beach could accommodate up to 2,500 people a day.
Mass tourism that threatens the calanque already plagued by soil erosion.
The objective of this measure, a first in France, is to preserve nature.
The maximum number of visitors per day has been set at 400. Reservations are made online and are free.
“We opened reservations at 9 a.m., three days before and everything left at 4 p.m. the same day,” explains Zachary Bruyas, communications manager for the Calanques National Park.
Security guards have been dispatched to the site to filter entries and check QR codes.
About thirty tourists had to turn back because they were not aware of this measure.
Others managed to access the beach by coming very early or by going through side roads.
Without a reservation, visitors are however liable to a fine of 68 euros.
This system is in place until August 21 and could be extended to other creeks in the coming years.
