(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 28 - 83,555 new infections from Covid have been registered in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Health Minister.
Yesterday there were 24,747.
The victims are 69, a slight increase compared to 63 yesterday.
A total of 717,400 tampons were performed, including antigenic and molecular, with the positivity rate of 11.6%, a sharp decrease compared to 24.5% yesterday.
On the other hand, 237 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 3 more than yesterday.
Daily admissions are 40. Hospitalized in ordinary wards are 6,035, or 162 more than yesterday.
The current positives are 773,450, so 34,599 more in the last 24 hours.
A total of 18,343,422 Italians have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the dead have risen to 168,234.
The discharged and healed are 17,401,738, with an increase of 49,493.
